COMPETITION DATES

The Saturday playing season is as follows:

First Competition Round: Saturday 31 October 2020.                                                                  

Last playing day before Christmas: Saturday 19 December 2020.                                                  

Restart post-Christmas: Saturday 20 February 2021.                                                          

Final playing day for season: Saturday 20 March 2021.

Superstar Kiwi (Ages 5-10):

Saturday morning, starting at 9.00 am.

Superstar Incrediball (Ages 5-12):

Saturday morning, starting at 10.45 am

Primary Grade (Ages 9-11):

Saturday morning, starting at 9.00 am

Intermediate Grades A & B (Ages 11-13):

Saturday morning, starting at 9.00 am, (Hardball)

CANCELLATIONS:

Nelson Cricket is responsible for cancellations for all grades, including all Girls grades. Any cancellations or ground changes will be posted on the Nelson Cricket website and Facebook by 7.00 am of the day in question.

SCORING

All scoring should be done using Nelson Cricket’s preferred scoring and management system, CricHQ. If someone in your team requires access please contact Trudi McLeod on 0276 558 040.

The results of all games must be entered in CricHQ by 5pm on the Monday after the weekend of play.

TEAM PRACTICE TIMES:

Weekly team coaching times will be set by each team’s coach at the start of the season.

WEAR:

Players should wear their Waimea Toi Toi United Club shirt and white long pants. Suitable footwear should be worn. A hat is essential and WTTU caps are available from the ProBrands website.

A cricket helmet must be worn while playing and during practice sessions when batting and keeping (within 5 metres of the stumps).

Any individual with responsibility for players (such as a coach or manager), together with the match umpires, should take all reasonable steps to ensure that the attached NZC polcy are followed. All Club helmets must comply with British Standard (BS7928:2013) as per the New Zealand Cricket Helmet Policy. This Policy can be found here.
