SMASH PLAY – suitable for entry level young cricketers. Years 1 & 2.
Skills and drills in a fun interactive format run at Jubilee Park South run by our senior Cricketers on a Saturday 8.30am -9.15am.

MACHINE BALL CRICKET – MBC – Term 4 2025 – Years 3 & 4
This is a new format, world first, being trialled in Nelson for Term 4.
Very exciting with 100% of deliveries in play for the batters to hit and therefore interaction and involvement for the whole team.

DUAL PITCH SMASH – DPS – Term 1 2026 – Years 3 & 4
This format will be the follow on format for this age group in Term 1 2026. This will continue to develop the players in readiness for HardBall Cricket.
Cost – $80 for the two formats.

JUNIOR HARDBALL – Years 5 & 6
Entry level Hardball – The teams play 20-over games and start to travel around the region to play other teams. They wear all the gear (helmets, gloves, pads etc). The club has all the gear they need to play, however we would recommend purchasing their own box.
Cost – $100.00.
INTERMEDIATE HARDBALL – Years 7 & 8
Hardball – The teams play 25-over games and continue to travel around the region to play other teams. They wear all the gear (helmets, gloves, pads etc). The club has all the gear they need to play, however we would recommend purchasing their own box.

CANCELLATIONS:
Nelson Cricket is responsible for cancellations for all grades, including all Girls grades. Any cancellations or ground changes will be posted on the Nelson Cricket Facebook page by 7.00 am of the day in question.
